5.3 Galvanic isolation - T90, A92
The Galvanic isolation is an option for converters in
the current range 2050...5150 A and rated voltages
≤1000 V. For converters with a rated voltage of
1190 V and 12-pulse serial > 2x 500 V the galvanic
isolation is a standard equipment. It is used to replace the high-ohmic resistance voltage measurement and gives the advantage of a total isolation
from power part to electronic part.
The transformer T90 and the DC transducer A92
are located outside the converter module. The internal AC and DC voltage measurement channels
are opened and connected to the T90 and A92
units.
