This change required the use of new fastener parts. A new (mm) capscrew (P/N ) was released as it replaced both and old design capscrews. Additionally, a much thicker boss was added to the flange at the : & : o'clock positions. These new thicker flange bosses require an even longer (mm) capscrew (P/N ). A thicker and larger diameter flat washer (P/N ) was also released as part of this upgrade. The new washer replaces existing washer . The existing stud (P/N ) and nut (P/N ) are not affected by these changes and will continue to be used. Note: Dana models with Wheel Differential Lock and Lube Pump options do not have "Thick Flange" carriers as of this publication. The upgrade for these particular models will take place st quarter .
