If a block that has tristate inputs is also configured for output pulse testing, the input filter time should be configured at 30mS or more. If a shorter pulse time is used, data from tristate inputs may momentarily be set to OFF during a pulse test. 2. If an input is wired for tristate operation, its circuit LED will glow dimly when the input is OFF. This does not indicate incorrect operation. 3. If the application program includes Datagram messages to the block, be sure to specify message length exactly. The block will not respond to Datagrams that have extra characters. 4. If the block will be used on a bus controlled by a Series Five bus controller, PCIM, QBIM, or other device containing a Genius Network Interface (GENI) module, if the GENI is version 1.4 note that: A. Configuring the block as an inputs–only block causes the I/O Enabled LED to work incorrectly. B. On a redundant bus, the block cannot be configured as an inputs–only block if it will be the BSM Controller. Upgrading the GENI to firmware version 1.5 (update kit #44A286366–G03) will correct these problems. 5. If this Electronics Assembly (IC660EBD020) is to be inserted into a Terminal Assembly (IC660TSD020) that is currently mated with a phase A Electronics Assembly (IC660ELD020) it is important to
