C 8-17 (18) 3 Disconnect the fiber optic cable and the power supply lead of the IGCT to be replaced. 4 Loosen all hexagon fastening bolts of the IGCTs (see arrows in Figure 8-21) and remove the two retaining rods. 5 Extract the top isolator disk. 6 Lift the cooler above the faulty IGCT and extract the faulty IGCT.
