(b) LBC&W Barracks With Open Vestibules (Breezeways). In this arrangement, the access vestibules to the exit stairs are open on two sides in the form of a breezeway. The exit stair is also open to the exterior. This arrangement is per the standard design. Fire protection will be provided as follows: INACTIVE CEMP-E 28 February 1997 Annex B, AEI for BUP First Edition 2-10 1/ One-hour fire-rated construction to separate the rooms from the vestibule, and ½-hour fire-rated construction between living units, as required by Paragraph 17-2.4 Exception. 2/ The project is in compliance with all other applicable requirements of the LSC, including the requirement for smoke detectors and a fire alarm evacuation system connected to the fire department. (c ) LBC&W Barracks With Enclosed Vestibules.
